My dear Mr. Twachtman:–

Your letter was duly received and the picture forwarded to Mr. Off as directed. The price marked at the back was $500.

The lot of things for Buffalo was also shipped last week so that we have here now only the remainder of your canvases that you wished us to keep during the summer. We have them in storage excepting two that were reserved for the Annual Exhibition which opened on Saturday, but will get them out again as soon as we have wall space released. Our show this year seems to be a success beyond that of former seasons.

Wishing you a pleasant journey, I am

Sincerely yours

Joseph Gest
Ass’t Director.

Mr. J. H. Twachtman,
16 Gramercy Park, New York.
