My dear Mr. Twachtman –
Mr. Duveneck has given me your letter of – sale concerning your exhibition now in Boston. By all means let us have it. Please tell the St. Botolph Club to ship by American Express. The charges we will pay here. I believe the St. Botolph attends to the packing. If not you may call upon Messrs. Stedman and Wilder who have at other times done this for us.
Mr. French in Chicago and Mr. Ives in St. Louis may want the collection after us. If possible we want it here for as long as three to four weeks. If you are willing that they shall have it I can write on your behalf, should you prefer.
With kind regards
Yours sincerely
J .H. Gest
